Vex182
So back in October this year, I brought a 2015 fiesta zetec ecoboost 100ps model after deciding that my aging Audi S3 was becoming to expensive to run (262bhp / 290lb-ft) and our old fiesta mk6 ( LX 2003) was getting on a bit. (131,000 miles 1.4 petrol). I sold the Audi and after we had had the zetec for about a month, I was so pleased with it that I brought a new titanium X (125) model for myself and gave the zetec to my partner who has been really pleased with it. The old fiesta is still with us for now to use for just general jobs. I had already fitted most of the mountune kit to the red fiesta (both intake pipes, intercooler pipes) and fitted the cover from the ecoboost focus. I added a remap from bluefin and the car ran 150bhp/ 180lb-ft torque. We have been very pleased with the results so I ordered the same kit for the titanium X but fitted the larger intake from pumaspeed and their own open cone filter. This car then ran 152bhp / 192lb-ft torque. ive just ordered the mountune intercooler for the titanium x too. Hence the custom name of MBP150 (Mountune/bluefin/pumaspeed). I've included some pictures for you all to see.

Tom-B64
Looks good! @Willy had done a very similar job to you but with the 165 kit. I'm sure he would be happy to help with anything

Vex182
This turned up in the post today which I am really pleased with. Got one saying Zetec for the other car too. It's the little touches that I like. Doing 500-600 miles a week in it means it has to look good for me
Vex182
So these turned up this afternoon. The terminator HID Kit from Hids direct online. Fitted them easily this evening, took about 1/2 hour. Very easy to do and tucked away pretty well. Got a slight flicker from the o/s bulb that comes and goes so I'll see how that goes on my 1 1/2 hour commute tomorrow at 5am. The pictures don't show the light to well. It's 6000k so white with a bit of blue that I can make out on the back of cars. Overall I am pleased and it is no higher than before so not blinding. Just need the the mountune intercooler to turn up now and I will look at fitting that this weekend.

Vex182
Well the car had its first service today with Ford and then I decided to fit the new intercooler. First I needed to but the bluefin map back on the car! Very easy to do, about 1/2 hour of work. Looks good and will hopefully help out in the summer keeping the boost temperatures down. Then a quick wash and that's done for now!
Tomson
Very nice! these bluefin devices, how many times do you get to use them? In theory could you use the one device to map various cars with the same engine etc - surely not because it would take away from Blufin's business...? Or is it programmed strictly for your car, but for multiple uses e.g if Ford update your ecu through a service etc?

Funny you should ask that, I plugged in the one for the other ecoboost and it errored and said Vin not reconigised.
Willy
Only works for 1 car only. It saves your original cars map on the handset so in theory can be loaded back onto the original car as many times as you like. The only way it will work on another car is if it's reset by superchips. This is free within 12 months of purchase, after that it's almost the cost of buying a new one.

Let me know how your car goes with the Bluefin and the larger intercooler. I'm yet to fit mine, as I was waiting on getting a dyno run with the Bluefin and just induction hoses and filter. But I'm getting impatient 😉
Willy
The cooler won't give you any notable increase in power especially this time of the year. The cooler really only keeps air temps down so not really gunna be noticeable.
Vex182
Yes as above, there is no difference in power or torque but it should be maintained better during the summer months.
Vex182
So I have not driven the car all week due to the crap weather so I left it all polished on the drive and put another 600 miles on the old Fiesta.
Vex182
Well this weekend, I ended updating both of the SYNC systems on our Ecoboost fiestas to 5.9 from the link provided in the forum. Downloaded onto a memory stick and then followed the instructions in the cars menu. The 2015 car had 4.001 and the 2016 car already had 5.8 on it. No difference noticed overall but at least under the skin it should have made a difference.
Vex182
So I ordered one of these earlier for the blue fiesta. Should stiffen the rear a little I hope, in the way that the ST200 rear axle did over the standard ST. The holes are already in the beam ready too which is nice! I fitted the smaller Corksport bar (sold for Mazda 2s which use the Fiesta rear axle) as I read the bars designed for the ST didn't fit the holes in the non-ST twist beam axle. The Corksport bar is an improvement over stock, but could do to be a bit stiffer, which will require a longer bar.

My idea is to go with what ford have done with the ST200 and use softer springs (standard) and stiffen up the rear axle and also the front subframe.

It has definitely reduced the understeer but I feel it could be a touch more. I had a similar idea to you, also based on be ST200. The roads here are terrible so I really don't want to go lower/firmer if u can help it. I was looking at poly bushing the front anti-roll/sway bar to see if that would tighten up the front a little. I've also added front and rear bracing, so the suspension rather than the frame is working. Yet to confirm with any track time though. Vex182
So all fitted. The rear end feels stiffer than before and if you lift off mid corner, the traction control cuts in all the time now so I'll get round to tying it with it off and see how playfull it is. I also fitted a shorte aerial to the car, I only use the DAB so this is more for just the looks of it. A quick test showed it did work though.
Willy
If you've got the same aerial as me then it's actually quite good.
